Traxo has been providing travel managers and organizations across the globe with complete trip visibility, providing consolidated reporting and ease of locating travelers before, during, and after trips. We’ve recently taken Traxo’s reporting to the next level by launching computed prices, a new feature to automatically convert all travel data into one common currency throughout a customer’s account.
With currency rates fluctuating regularly, it can be both time-consuming and challenging to figure out the accurate currency conversion to apply to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting. By introducing our new computed prices, we are eliminating currency conversion from your list of responsibilities, freeing up more time for you to focus on what matters in maintaining program oversight and discovering new insights.
How does currency conversion work?
For bookings made in a foreign currency, Traxo will automatically convert prices to US Dollars (USD). The conversion will be based on the original currency’s USD conversion ratio as of the date of the booking. Reports and insights in the Traxo platform will be shown in USD as well as the original currency.
Traxo Reporting in Console
Traxo customers will notice slight changes in all itinerary views and reports available in our Console web application for travel teams. Reports now include columns for both “computed price” and “computed currency”, in addition to the original rate and original currency of the booking.
Launching Computed Prices
Traxo’s computed pricing launched across all customers in July 2022. Should you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your Traxo representative. This is another innovative step forward in giving travel teams complete travel program visibility into all of their employee travel as well as new insights into both agency and non-agency travel bookings.
